Global Dealmaking Reaches $2.5 Trillion

Overview

Global dealmaking in the first half of 2018 has reached $2.5 trillion, an increase of 65% from the same time last year and setting the all-time record for the period. To date, 79 transactions have exceeded $5 billion and 35 deals above $10 billion, breaking both previously-held records.
