PwC Releases 2018 Annual Corporate Directors Survey

PwC has released its 2018 Annual Corporate Directors Survey. The survey included responses from 714 directors, the majority of which represented companies with annual revenues of more than $1 billion. Among the survey’s key findings were that 45% of directors believe that a fellow director should be replaced, with 21% of directors believing that two or more directors should be replaced. Further, 52% of the directors believe that board diversity efforts are primarily driven by political correctness, and 48% of the directors believe shareholders are too preoccupied with the topic.
